The "Day-7" journey starts from Rausu town in moving into the western side of the Peninsular Shiretoko, where the trip is required to pass through the Cape Shiretoko in the middle of the mountain ranges.
The western part of the Peninsular Shiretoko belongs to the Shari Town, where its land size is much larger than Rausu town's. The Day-7 driving is kicked off by the National Road #334 over the Cape Shiretoko on the west direction until the junction of the Hokkaido Road #93. Once it hits the junction, the driving is to turn right and move up to the Kamuiwakka Waterfall on the northern direction.
After the Kamuiwakka Waterfall, the much smaller and narrower road is available until the Bay Rusha in the most north point that driving can be managed. Thereafter, it is highly recommended to drive back to the Five Shiretoko Lakes, where you can have very scenic spot in the back of Mt. Shiretoko Mountain Ranges. You can enjoy walking in the natural environment there as well as the great sea view from Shiretoko Rock Cliffs.
The journey continues to visit the Utorosaki Observatory point as well as the dynamic Furepe Waterfall. You can enjoy the great natures from the land side.
If you go to the point of the Shiretoko Cruiser point, then, I like to recommend you to take the cruise ride and have the unusual experiences as well as the beautiful sea view from the cruiser.
Finally, the Day-7 journey is to end at the main part of Shari town near the bottom of the Pensinular Shiretoko.
