J-BOND Team Trip - 8th day in Japan (3)

May 17, 2015

J-BOND team went to see a famous temple, "KINKAKU-JI", which is also called as a "Golden Pavillion". yesterday.

KINKAKUJI is a Zen Buddhist temple and it is one of total 17 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage-listed monuments in Kyoto.  It is a three-story building in the garden comlex during "Muromachi" period in the 14 - 15 centuries.

The top two stories are covered with pure gold leaf, based on the compound of Rokuon-ji, of which 1st story is in Palance style, 2nd story in Samurai-house style and 3rd story in the scred relics of the Buddha.

J-BOND team was proudly taken a group photo together in front of KINKAKU-ji, and I believe that this photo could be well kept as their great memory in the life, while they have a happy graduation trip to Japan in 2015.
